One of first German musicians to benefit from Italian influence. Wrote nearly 100 chorale melodies and harmonizations, sacred songs in Italian style, villanelles, madrigals, Venus Kräntzlein (new secular songs, 1609), motets, dance suites, wedding songs, etc. |
